Can’t thank everyone enough for the nice comments about the haircut/beard shave metamorphosis that took place today. To put myself on blast, I’ve always been such a pansy about haircuts and even more of a puss when it came to shaving my beard. Pretty cool to change things up a little and get that kind of good response

This trip was nuts. Still jet lagged from the first flight, haven’t been able to eat a full meal in 4 days, and I’m pretty sure I’m still a little dabbed out from last night but I couldn’t be more content with how this whole thing went down. I’m more inclined than ever to actually tell my family the whole tale of my journey to hippy hill just because of how insane it was to see that many people in the same spot for the same reason, but I’ll just get some confused looks and quick subject changes. At the very least, I’ve got these awesome memories, I met a whole bunch of new people, I took a lot of pictures and I can now cross something off my bucket list (come on, we’ve all got one).

Finally finished up the owl piece on my right shin. I’ve been pretty sketched on getting this finished since I thought it looked so nice in black & gray but I’m pretty excited on how the color came out. But, good gravy did that spot hurt. Each of the 3 sessions (outline/shading & background/color) were two to two and a half hours long and they were spread out along the last 8 months.
