Hey everyone! I’m looking for new ways to promote my website GetPluggedINC.com. Since we have a new website with a new URL, we’ve run into some issues spreading the word while transitioning. If anyone’s got any cool or helpful ideas to throw my way, I’m more than stoked to take on suggestions. In the meantime, take some time to browse the new inventory and suggest us to your friends. I think I’m going to start that whole a picture a day/365 process. I never used to understand it, but it’s a cool way to try different techniques every day. I’m all for keeping it interesting while learning from experience. It’s time to try and hone actual skills instead of relying on heavy editing.
- First portrait I posted was a heavy edit, but from the large JPEG version of the image. Big ups to Destroyer for teaching me the importance of combining different hue, contrast, and color correction layers to create everything from a vintage effect to that sharpened HDR look to the sappiest sepia tones one sad sorry soul could ask for. - Second picture (just posted a minute ago) was only modified with simple fill light/contrast/brightness edits before the cr2 to JPEG conversion process.
- This picture above was taken for the Get Plugged blog and I decided to throw it up for everyone to take a look at. Only a small temperature change on this one.

It’s definitely one of those “work from home” days. With the release of the new Get Plugged website, tons of video editing to do for Buds Blog, some graphic work for Validus, finishing up the look book for Fact Or Fiction, and a whole bunch of filming to do, I’d say I’ve got a day’s load of projects to get working on. At 2pm I’m halfway through the task list, so I’m hitting a good stride. The weather being chilly and overcast along with this extremely comfy Diamond Supply hoody are adding an extreme ambiance to the work flow.
